(The drive home from dinner was beautiful, but sadly, this is the only picture I could get of it.)
Today, (well yesterday, really) I spent most of my day grocery shopping and picking up around the house. I found a few new recipes and I'm really excited to try them. I may not be very good at cooking, but I'm driven to get better.

In (a lot) less boring news, I GOT A BIG GIRL JOB!!!! Yaaaaaaaay!! I'm now the marketing assistant at deviantART. I am so excited to start there; everyone seems very sweet and I hope my nerdy humor will fit right in. It's so exciting, but I still can't believe I got a real job! Not a crappy hourly gig - a grown-up job. Weird. I mean, I still can't really believe that I'm not heading back to school in August. Oh life, you're going way too fast, but I'm too excited to see what's next to slow you down. Le sigh.
That exciting news was followed by a wonderful dinner with Kevin and friends I hadn't met before. They were beyond lovely and interesting, and I hope to see them again sometime soon. The night ended a bit weird, with a viewing of "Youth In Revolt" (it was okay), but today I'm feeling much better and ready to kick the world in the face. I'm not *quite* sure why the world deserves a kick in the face, but I'm in a kick first, ask questions later kind of mood. Sorry, world.
